My hobbies are watching films, especially old and long films, some of my favorites are Ran, Yojimbo by Akira Kurosawa and anything by David Lynch. I also read books, graphic novels and comics as well as listen to unsufferable music as I've been told like Mongolian Throat singing which I think is amazing.
I would love to work in the future as a book illustrator or a poster designer for films, I love getting lots of details and references into my work. I am often seen late at night scurrying around in the dark getting a snack to then go back to creating my own worlds on paper. The snack of choice had to be either little bag of crisps or a cheese toastie with ham, diced whole red chilli, chilli jam, chilli flakes.
If I had unlimited money, I would collect books and traditional masks especially the Japanese theatre masks as well as Balinese masks called Barong, so cool. My artwork is often full of detail and coloured with bold colours to stand out. My ultimate goal is for people to stop their busy life's for a few extra seconds to look a little closer to my work. My dream work would be for a client such as penguin book publishing to reimagine the old classics. I would also love to create Illustrtations and posters for classic movies as I love art which takes a few minutes to see all the details and elements and hope to have that effect with my work .
